Eric and Barry's Big 12 picks

Everyone had a rough last week, and Barry and I were no different.  i still have a 2 game lead in the year long standings...

This week's games:
No. 24 Kansas State at No. 17 Missouri (Fox Sports Net, 11:30 p.m.)
Huge win for the Cats last week, taking down Texas while throwing 4 passes.  That won't happen again, but if KSU can cover the suddenly lackluster Mizzou passing game, KSU will set themselves up for a nice bowl.  Eric's pick:  KSU  Barry's pick: MU
Iowa State at Colorado (Fox College Sports, 12:30 p.m)
No more "Hawk Love" at CU, Dan Hawkins was fired Monday.  ISU came up a failed fake extra point attempt in overtime from knocking off Nebraska last week, and Paul Rhodes is one of the most inspirational coaches in the country.  Eric's pick:  ISU  Barry's pick:  CU
Texas Tech at No. 16 Oklahoma (ABC/ESPN3, 2:30 p.m.)
A suddenly scary game for OU, after a weird loss to A&M last week.  Tech ran the ball very well in their win against Missouri, and a balanced offense is always tough to stop.  Eric's pick:  OU  Barry's pick:  OU
Kansas at No. 8 Nebraska (pay-per-view, 6 p.m.)
The prodigal son returns to NU, as KU coach Turner Gill will step inside Memorial stadium for the first time on the visitors sideline.  After realing off 35 straight points vs Colorado last week, the Hawks seem to be flying high, but face a Nebraska defense that gave up too many first downs to ISU.  Eric's pick:  NU  Barry's pick:  NU
No. 25 Texas A&M at Baylor (Fox Sports Net, 6 p.m.)
Watch this scoreboard light up again!  Ryan Tannehill is 2-0 since replacing Jerrod Johnson at QB for the Aggies.  Baylor, after a great start to the season, Still needs a win to get to a bowl.  Eric's pick:  A&M  Barry's pick:  BU
No. 10 Oklahoma State at Texas (ABC/ESPN3, 7 p.m.)
OSU 's only bump on the schedule was a loss to the only team ranked ahead of them in the Big 12.  This game actually doesn't mean much for OSU (they still need to beat OU in the Bedlam game) but means everything for a Texas team suddenly just trying to make a bowl game.  Eric's pick:  OSU Barry's pick:  OSU
