Last post of 2008

First of all, what a year it's been. So many memorable moments, so many heartbreaking defeats. Just off the top of my head (which is still fuzzy from being sick Tuesday) here's some memories I'll take from this past year...

-RC's Gary Roberts and Trevor Kuhlman each scoring 26 in the loss at Sacred Heart.
-Erica Hadachek getting run over by Katie Pratt at the end of the girls game just before, with no foul called.
-The RC guys surrendering just 38 to Sacred Heart in the return trip to Belleville.
-PV's Chelsea Freed and her 19 point, 13 rebound, 7 assist game at Hanover
-Celia Porter's 3 point chase and school record 47 3's made.
-Late season "Red Outs" for RC games
-6 minute "stall" for the RC guys vs TMP
-The fun the softball team had playing with eachother.
-35 degrees and rain broadcasting the second of the double header against Beloit.
-Hanging out at track meets for the HS and JH.
-State track and the great performances (Nickie Weir in the Shot, Heather Bergmann in a great battle for the Javelin)
-RC JH football starting off with a win at SES, 46-0.
-Derek Barrett's 48 carry, 257 yard performance in the playoff loss to Quinter.
-Braden Bloomfield's 6 TD runs against Deerfield.
- Zero-zero second half scoring in the 8 man D-1 State Title game. Baileyville defeated Clifton/Clyde 24-16.

That's what i got right now. By all means, leave me more in the comments. I konow I left plenty out there. Here's to 2009!

Oh, by the way, I'll pick Nebraska over Clemson in the Gator Bowl, 31-21
