Congrats to the Pike Valley junior high volleyball team, who took 2nd place at the Pike Trail League tournament. Way to go girls!
District play begins
While the 8 man ranks in Kansas enter week 3 of district play, 11 man schools are just entering "the second season." Republic County (0-6) travels to Riley County (2-4) to face a very young Falcon team. The Buffs have struggled putting points on the board this year, but face a Riley Co defense that gives up an average of 32 points per game. Volleyball continues their winning ways
RC's JV team was in smith Center September 12 for a round robin tourney. Finishing with just 1 loss, the Lady Buffs received 2nd place. Congrats!
