We interupt the wonderful comment section of the previous post to bring you this news... Clifton/Clyde is in the playoffs! The Eagles host Marias des Cynges Valley tonight at 6pm. Pregame with me and Nick will begin at 5:45. If can of course hear it on 92.1 fm, and on the internet at www.network1sports.com

C/C is 9-0 and has played but one game into the 4th quarter; that a 46-20 at Pike Valley. MdCV is 5-4, but is 4-1 in their last 5 games. Funny things happen in the playoffs, but not tonight... Eagles 48-0.

Good luck to the Eagles!

Just wondering if it has any thing to do with the number of kids on their team played 5th and 6th grade football. Salvation Army, Clifton Clyde Vikings!!!!!

As some may know, I helped coach the Vikings in 2006. KNowing hw they practice, and the toughness those kids can develop at that young age, it certainly hasn't hurt them in HS. It also doesn't urt when your enitre backfield can run under 4.6 second 40's...
