The University of Arizona women's basketball team will start their campaign on Friday, November 12 with a road game at Wichita State. The game will provide a homecoming for senior Amanda Pierson and assistant coach Chance Lindley who both grew up in the Sunflower State. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. in Koch Arena.
(Thought this was interesting - Chance Lindley attended Sunrise Academy and I believe he still holds the record for all time leading scorer on the boys side of the Hillsboro Classic. I think Amanda is up there in the top on the girls side. )
