Cloudy and cool to start the season, the varsity linksters teed it up in Washington on Tuesday, April 3. Blake Porter's 77 lead the way, good for a 6th place medal after a playoff loss for 5th. Kalen Cromwell and Seth Hiatt each shot 86 to tie for 12 and Devyn Bebermeyer fired 88 for a 4 man total of 337. The team score finished 3rd, behind 4A Holton (285) and 3A Nemaha Valley (332). Other scores for RC were Trevor Allen with 92 and Gary Hadachek with 96. Kellin Brandt of Holton was the tournament medalist with a -6 66 on the day!
JV golfers headed to Smith Center for their rounds. Chase Lambert shot 107 to finish 23rd, Drew Hoops 110- 26th, Stetson Junek 112- 28th, and Tad Hiatt 134- 41st
